摘要 Rare earth macrocyclic complexes, characterised in that they consist of at least one rare earth salt forming a complex with a macrocyclic compound of formula (I), in which bivalent radicals A , B , C and D which may be the same or different, are hydrocarbonated chains optionally containing one or more heteroatoms, at least one of said radicals including at least one molecular pattern or essentially consisting of a molecular pattern with a triplet energy exceeding that of the emissive level of the complex rare earth ion, at least one of said radicals consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted nitrogenous heterocyclic system, at least one of the nitrogen atoms of which carries an oxy group, and one of the C or D radicals possibly being nonexistant; X1 and X2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or a hydrocarbonated chain (CH2)n optionally interrupted by 1 or more heteroatoms, wherein n is an integer from 1 to 10, with the proviso that when the radicals A and/or B are a nitrogenous heterocyclic system, at least one of the nitrogen atoms of which carries an oxy group, the radicals C and/or D be chosen from the biquinolines, the bi-isoquinolines, the bipyridines, the ter-pyridines, the coumarines, the bipyrazines, the bipyrimidines and the pyridines. The complexes are useful in the reduction of disturbances in an assay using fluorescence.
