PURPOSE:To provide the high-sensitive electrometer reducing a background current. CONSTITUTION:This electrometer is composed of a log amplifier 2 to receive and output an input current from a detector 1, high resistor 4 to branch the input current while being parallelly connected to the input side of this log amplifier 2, monitor means 3 and 5 to monitor the output of the log amplifier 2, and current control means 6 to make the bias of the log amplifier proper by controlling the current flowing in the high resistor 4 corresponding to the monitored results of these monitor means 3 and 5. |
