<p>The electronic lock cylinder comprises a housing (1) with a cylinder core (9) which is mounted rotatably therein and which can be blocked in the conventional way by a key (15) via mechanical tumblers (21). The lock cylinder and the key (15) are assigned electronic control circuits (45, 47) which can be inductively coupled via coupling coils (43, 49) for the transmission of coding information. The coupling coil (43) of the lock cylinder is combined, together with all electronic components present within the lock cylinder and with a mounting (51), to form a constructional unit which is attached removably to one end face of the lock cylinder. In this way, the mechanical components and the electronic components of the lock cylinder can be mounted separately from one another, and the electronic components can, if appropriate, be exchanged, without the mechanical part of the lock cylinder having to be exchanged. <IMAGE></p> |
