PURPOSE:To shorten debugging time by providing an incircuit emulator(ICE) control part to control a file management part and a symbol management part while receiving a command input from a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:The command inputted by a keyboard 4 discriminates a bugging history command by an ICE control part 5, a file management part 2 prepares an arbitrary file according to whether a bugging history file 1 is designated or not, and the ICE control part 5 writes the date and time in the prepared file. Next, the ICE control part 5 reads a program counter and requests a function name, file name and line number to a symbol management part 3. When symbol information is read out in respect to the request, the information is written in the bugging history file 1 and when no information is read out, the program counter is written in the file 1 respectively. Afterwards, the file management part 2 activates an editor to the bugging history file 1 in order to describe the detailed bugging history. |
