The syringe is placed on a cardboard support (1) which is considerably wider and longer than the syringe. The cap (2) is fixed at the top of the support by means of a portion of transparent adhesive tape (3). Once the injection has been carried out, the operator holds the bottom (4) of the support with one hand, and the syringe with the other hand. He then introduces the used needle, still integral with the syringe, into the cap without any risk of pricking himself or of touching the blood of the patient. <IMAGE>
