<p>PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness at the time of resuming reproduction by providing each circuit for mode detection, discrimination as to whether or not control signals exist, discrimination of tape feed and selection of mode and selecting to output a mode selection signal to set a standard and one of other modes at the time of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:By the mode detecting circuit 1, out of the detection result of control signals (CTL), signal CFG and clock CLK, one from standard, double and triple mode detecting signals (MSP, MLP, MEP) is outputted. If the signal CFG is missing, a tape stop signal (CFGNO) is outputted by the tape feed discriminating circuit 11. If CFGNO is missing and CTL is not among the standard signal REFa, control non-signal CTLNO is outputted by the control circuit 12 for discriminating whether or not CTL exists. By the mode selecting circuit 3, when the signal CTLNO is missing, each signal SP, LP, EP corresponding to MSP, MLP, MEP are outputted; and when CTLNO exists, signal SP is forcedly outputted. Consequently, the responsiveness at the time of resuming the reproduction is improved.</p> |
