<p>PURPOSE:To always bring up the state of a forward travelling mode by providing a member by which a direction lever is moved synchronously when the cap of a cassette loading recessed part is opened by operating a cap opening button to release a lock in order to replace a tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:The direction lever 74 is held on a chassis 7 freely movably to a left and right direction, and when it is moved to the right and the left, a forward and reverse traveling mode are formed respectively. A tension spring to energize the lever 74 with a moving force to a reverse position, a cap by which the cassette loading recessed part is opened and closed, and a cap locking plate 99 by which the cap is locked at a closed position are provided. This plate 99 is moved between the locking position and the lock releasing position of the cap, and when it is moved to the lock releasing position by a cap opening button 107, the lever 74 is moved to the forward position by cooperative mechanisms 111, 112. Consequently, when the cap is released, the state of the forward travelling mode is always brought up.</p> |
