PURPOSE:To provide an excellent component mounting unit time device which can solve a subject of occurrence of a mounting tact loss due to recognition of a component and minimize the loss due to recognition, correction, etc., of the component in the device for mounting the component on a printed board. CONSTITUTION:A sucking head 12 having a suction nozzle 11, and driving means having a first drive shaft 9 and a second drive shaft 10 for positioning the head 12 from a component supply unit 13 to an arbitrary position of a printed board 14, are provided. The head 12 so provided at the position opposed to the end of the nozzle 11 as to recognize the sucked state of the component between the board 14 and the unit 13 comprises linear recognition means 17 for fetching recognition information during movement from the unit 13 to an arbitrary predetermined position on the board 14. |
