PURPOSE:To get a simple structure for an ultrasonic motor by which high efficiency can be gotten. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 5 comprises the first rotor 6 and the second rotor 8. The first rotor 6 has sawteeth 6 at the inside periphery, and rotates by the progressive waves occurring at the surface of a vibrator 2. The second rotor 8 is provided, at the periphery, with claws 9 which hook on the sawteeth 6a of the first rotor 6 only to the rotation in the direction (a) of the first rotor 6. If the second rotor 8 rotates in the direction (a) and gets inertia, it rotates at a speed higher than the first rotor 6 by the inertia of the second rotor 8 itself even if the rotational speed of the first rotor 6 slows. Moreover even if the first rotor 6 stops, the second continues rotating until the inertia goes. |
