摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the cable for transmission of light signals which can transmit light at a small change in light quantity and at a stable light quantity even if the cable is strongly bent. CONSTITUTION:The multiple plastic optical fibers which are filled with a sheath resin having a low refractive index in such a manner as to individually segment at least >=500 pieces of many fibers each consisting of a transparent fiber resin having a high refractive index and having >=50 micron fiber diameter and are integrated to have a nearly circular section are protected and coated with a thermoplastic resin, by which the cable for transmission of the light signals is obtd.
