PURPOSE:To perform control such that a color image by lapping transfer free from a color drift is produced by effecting writing action without being influenced by a fluctuation in a load. CONSTITUTION:One transfer body is located to one photosensitive substance in a manner to approach to and part from each other by means of a separating mechanism. Toner images sequentially formed by means of a picture signal per color decomposed to each of colors on the photosensitive substance are overlapped, sequentially in order in a contact position between to photosensitive substance and the transfer body and transferred to a transfer sheet held in a state to be wound around the transfer body to produce a color image. In a so formed color recording device, after the transfer sheet is held in a state to be wound around the transfer body, the transfer body is separated per color away from the photosensitive substance, thereafter the action timings of a writing action for the photosensitive substance and transfer action by the transfer body are controlled, based on a photosensitive substance reference position signal HP less influenced by a fluctuation in a load produced during rotation of the photosensitive substance alone. |
