PURPOSE:To display receiving time, the number of times of reception, cumulative receiving time, etc., in the reception of a pay broadcast such as a TIA system or a Pay-Per-View system, etc., on a display screen by synthesizing those into a video signal. CONSTITUTION:In the TIA system in which the reception is permitted three times a minute before a receiving contract is made, a control microcomputer 8 reads the number of times of the corresponding reception from a memory part 4 storing the number of times of the reception of every received program, and synthesizes it into a descrambled video signal by a descramble circuit 3 together with time elapsed by a timer 5. Besides, by turning on/off an input signal to the descramble circuit 3 within one minute by manual operation or automatically, the number of times of the reception can be updated. On the other hand, in the Pay-Per-View system, the cumulative receiving time of every channel is stored in the memory part 4 by the timer 5, and when the corresponding channel is received again, the control microcomputer 8 reads the corresponding cumulative time out of the memory part 4, and synthesizes it into the corresponding descrambled video signal, and displays it. |
