PURPOSE:To eliminate the labor and time at a tollgate by installing toll road toll collection system at the entrance/exit way of a toll road, automatically recognizing the number of a vehicle passing the entrance/exit way, finding a travel section from the vehicle number and calculating a toll, and sending information on it to a bank. CONSTITUTION:A number read means 1 sends vehicle passage information on the passing vehicle to a processor 2. A man-machine input means 3 inputs information on the number, etc., by manual operation unless the normal information on the vehicle passage is obtained by the number read means 1. The processor 2 gathers the information obtained by the number read means 1 or man- machine input means 3, finds the travel section of each vehicle, and calculates the toll corresponding to it, and sends the information on it to the optional bank 4. The bank 4 collects the toll from the account corresponding to the number according to the information received from the processor 2. |
