PURPOSE:To provide a lead-acid battery cathode plate safe from fall-off of the active material, which plate is of a thin type and is lightweight, and is high in the weight energy density. CONSTITUTION:Active material paste is coated thin onto a lead sheet and, after it is dried, is reduced to provide a sheet-like anode activator. By pressurizing the sheet-like anode activation material exfoliated from the lead sheet, in the form of a grating, a current collector 2 is formed in the activation material portion 1. |
