<p>PURPOSE:To suppress a cell abort rate and a delay of data such as audio data and moving picture data whose band is able to be set (data of a call whose band is set) sufficiently lower and to sufficiently suppress a cell abort rate of data from a LAN terminal equipment whose band setting is difficult (data of a call whose band is not set). CONSTITUTION:Calls to be generated are classified into 1st calls operating band is to be applied and 2nd calls whose operating band is not to be applied. A switching system is provided with a 1st buffer 22 used for the 1st calls and a 2nd buffer used for the 2nd calls. The output of cells from the 2nd buffer 23 is controlled so that the quality of the cell from the 1st buffer is not effected. Furthermore, before the 2nd buffer is occupied, a congestion control signal is generated to allow the switching system of a pre-stage or a terminal equipment to suppress or stop the transmission of the cell generated from the 2nd call.</p> |
