PURPOSE:To allow a public telephone set to receive a function and a service equivalent to a general telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The calling part 21 of a master set 20 receives transmission information from the calling part 11 of a slave set 10. The master set calling part 21 sends transmission information from the slave set 10 to a credit calling exchange station exchange device 40 through a general single public telephone line 30 and transmits/connects with the slave set 10. The master set calling part 21 sends credit calling identification information received from the slave set 10 to the credit calling exchange station exchange device 40, connects the slave set 10 and a credit number registering station 50 and mutually transmits/ receives information between them. At the time of confirming the slave set 10 to be a calling user, the credit number registering station 50 connects the slave set 10 and a credit calling opposite party through the general single public telephone line 30 with the credit calling exchange station exchange device 40 and sends calling charge information from the credit calling exchange station exchange device 40 to the credit number registering station 50 at the time of finishing the calling.
