<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dimmer with a simple circuit configuration, with which phase control can be made with signals representing the dimming level. CONSTITUTION:A bidirectional three-terminal thyristor 13 is triggered with inter-end voltage of a capacitor 17 and is phase controlled. The incremental rate of the inter-end voltage of the capacitor 17 varies with the resistance value of a photo-conductive cell 15. This resistance value is controlled by a drive current flowing in an LED 16 in compliance with the input voltage V1.</p> |
