PURPOSE:To rock plural brush roller main bodies without increasing vibration and noise. CONSTITUTION:The brush roller main bodies 130 are rocked while they are rotated in the same direction. Therefore, the brushing effect(dot reproducibility) of a waterless PS plate 12 is enhanced. Cam grooves 166 respectively formed on the cam drums 164 of a developing part 14 and a coloring part 16 are set so that their shapes may be the same but the phases may be shifted when they are planarly developed. This phase difference is set to an angle other than 180 deg., as a result, dead centers at the time when holders 148 reciprocate are not aligned. In the case that the holder 148 changes the direction, more noise and more vibration are produced by the looseness caused by the tolerance of respective machine parts than while another point is moved. Therefore, the dead center is the peak of the vibration and the noise. By shifting the phase of the period of the reciprocation of both holders 148, the peaks of the vibration and the noise are not overlapped and the vibration and the noise are mitigated. |
