PURPOSE:To obtain focused images with respect to main objects, which are positioned at different distances by selecting range-finding actions of plural times and the positional relation of the plural objects before a releasing action. CONSTITUTION:The distances to the two main objects which exist in a photographing angle of view and whose distances from a camera are different are successively measured by a range-finding means 302, and the range-finding information is stored in a storing means 301. Next, a selecting means 208, and a displaying means 52 which makes a photographer recognize the result of the selecting means 208 select the positional relation of the two main objects to the camera. Furthermore, an arithmetic means 301 finds the inclined angle of a photographic optical system based on the data on the positional relation and range-finding information, a tilt driving means 306 tilt-drives the photographic optical system based on the information found. Thus, even though automatic focusing is adopted in the camera, the camera can comply with every object whose distance is different. |
