PURPOSE:To raise the hit rate of KANA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI(Chinese character) conversion at the time of input to a specific item in an information processor. CONSTITUTION:When an item name acquiring part 410 detects the identifier of the item where a cursor exists, a dictionary existence check part 430 determines a dictionary most suitable for the item having the identifier out of plural dictionaries in a processor based on a correspondence dictionary table indicating the correspondence relations between identifiers and dictionaries. Then, a dictionary switching part 420 switches the dictionary in accordance with this determination. The dictionary is switched to narrow the range of candidates of KANA-KANJI conversion when characters are inputted to the specific item at the time of character input, thereby improving the precision of KANA-KANJI conversion to efficiently input characters. |
