PURPOSE:To lighten the burden on a driver and to effectively assist the driving a mobile object such as an automobile by storing schedule information on movement to a scheduled destination and also displaying a destination to be moved to next together with a current position in a navigation device which displays map information and current position information in the map information and assists the driving. CONSTITUTION:This navigation device is equipped with a schedule information storage means 1 stored with schedule data consisting of destination information including position information on the destination expected to be moved to and information on the time of arrival at the destination, a timer means 2 which generates current time information, and a schedule control means 3 which obtains the current time generated by the timer means 2, selects the destination having the expected arrival time closest to the current time in the schedule information storage means 1, and displays information on the selected destination in the map information. |
