<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device when a cassette is not loaded by bisecting a mechanism substrate and sliding them so that relative positions to a rotary cylinder are three kinds in accordance with each function and condition at the time of the loading/unloading the cassette. CONSTITUTION:The position of a substrate 2 is slid to the positions 1 to 3 against a substrate 1, upper, middle and lower as shown in the figure by the pantograph mechanism of a guiding hole, a driving arm, etc., provided on first and second substrates 1 and 2. That is, at the time of the loading and unloading of a cassette 3, enough distance is present between the substrate 2 and a rotary cylinder 6 so as to prevent a damage to a magnetic tape at the first position. When the cassette 3 is loaded, the substrate 2 is placed nearer to the cylinder 6 at the second position than it is at the first position and the recording and reproducing are operated by winding the magnetic tape on the cylinder 6. When the cassette 3 is not loaded, the substrate 2 is placed nearer to the cylinder 6 at the third position than it is at the second position. Thus, the dimension of the device is reduced and miniaturized when it is carried without unloading the cassette 3.</p> |
