In a method for adding an additive to a liquid insulation agent for electrical devices, predetermined quantities of an additive (2) and of a liquid insulation agent are introduced separately into an electrical device in such a way as to fill the latter with the mixture of the additive and of the liquid insulation agent. This method facilitates the verification of the type and of the quantity of additive having to be added, and checking of the concentration of additive in the liquid insulation agent. <IMAGE>
