The gearbox (1) has a main shaft comprising the drive shaft (2) and coaxial output shaft (3). Reduction shafts (5,6) are mounted parallel to the main shaft in the gearbox housing (4). The drive shaft can be coupled to a first (13) and second (14) input wheel (14) through a switch coupling (20) with sliding sleeve (21) and sleeve support (22). The latter (22) is connected rotationally secured to the drive shaft by gearing (24) and is guided axially with play between the contact faces (25,26) of the first and second input gearwheels (13,14). The drive shaft can be axially fixed by the sleeve support and bearing faces and the latter have axial bearings. USE/ADVANTAGE - Multiple ratio gearbox. The sleeve support can be adjusted without force parallel to the input gearwheels.
