Profiled elastic sealing strip for glazing - forms continuous strip round window with hose-type sealing portion above base rib

The profiled elastic sealing strip fits between a windowpane and its frame. On one side it has a base rib (2) inclined to the pane, together with an inclined sealing portion. On the other side are a locking lug and a supporting lip, fitting round a hooked portion of the frame. The strip (1) runs right round the window in one piece. It has a hose-type sealing portion (4) above the base rib (2), which is cut through (15) at set intervals over its whole length. The rib can curve slightly and taper towards the free edge (3). ADVANTAGE - Allows easy and rapid fitting, without special manipulation at corners.
