An improved shaped article comprising a thermoformed composite sheet (20), which is a layer of thermoplastic polymer (22) attached to a surface of a lightweight conformable fabric (24), the oth er surface of the fabric being attached to a layer of rigid foam (30), provides the article with improved wall thickness uniformity and impact resistance.
