The use of oxytocin, vasopressin or endorphins (I) for the treatment and prevention of medical and psychological conditions associated with the absence or deficiency of these substances in the blood. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) are used alone or in combination against immunological diseases, e.g. AIDS, cancer, rheumatic diseases, neurological diseases, e.g. Alzheimer's disease, diseases of the heart, kidneys, liver, blood, stomach and bladder and allergies. They can also be used in conditions caused by an overactive pituitary, e.g. giantism, acromegalia, sterility, impotency, bone cysts, nephrolithiasis, Basedow's disease, paraganglioma, Cushing's syndrome, masculinization and menstruation disorders, or an underactive pituitary, e.g. dwarfism, tetany, cretinism, myxedema, Addison's disease and hypogenitalia.
