A method for rotorless centrifugal rectification provides for heating an initial liquid mixture at a high pressure, throttling the heated liquid while simultaneously setting it into rotation by its tangential injection into a cylindrical vortex chamber and artificial cooling of the vapour-liquid flow in the rotation center zone. As a result of throttling, a vapour phase is generated which moves, under the influence of pressure gradient, through the liquid from the periphery towards the center where a part of it is tapped and a part is condensed under the influence of cooling. The condensed liquid phase under the influence of the centrifugal force moves towards the periphery where the liquid is tapped. A device for implementing the method comprises a feed pump (1), a heater (2), a condenser (4) and a vortex chamber (3) which includes a casing with a cylindrical working cavity, tangential sleeves (5) for injection of the liquid, a sleeve (7) for tapping the vapour phase, a dephlegmator (6) and a sleeve (10) for tapping the liquid phase connected to the working cavity by means of openings (9), and a collector (8) for tapping the liquid phase. |
