摘要

The light-guide connector terminal for receiving and retaining an optical light-guide includes a guideway housing (1) with a guide channel (2) for a square insert housing (3) provided with a lengthwise boring (4) for receiving an optical fibre (5). The guideway housing (1) is widened at its lower end to accommodate a cutter (9) blade (8)and to form an insertion limiting abutment (10) for the optical light-guioe (5). Above the cutter (9) the corresp. side-wall of the guide housing (1) is left open over the entire width of the frontal end-face (11) of the insert housing (3) to enable, e.g. another opto-electric component to be arranged in the open front plane, as defined by the end-face (11) and the cropped end-face of the light-guide (5).
