The preparation contains, as an active substance, a proteinase inhibitor chosen from the group: aprotinin, its derivative or an aprotinin-like substance, in the form of an aqueous solution or solid micronized particles with the dimensions within the range 0.5-20 mu m. The aqueous solution contains the active substance in a quantity of 1,500-10,000 KIU/ml. The preparation is recommended to be used for the treatment and prophylaxis of preferably viral respiratory diseases. |
