Soil improver for acid soil - contg. sodium hydroxide soln., glycerol, acetic acid and wetting agent

A soil improver for neutralising and reactivating excessively acidified soil in agriculture and forestry contains (a) NaOH soln., (b) glycerol, (c) acetic acid, and (d) a wetting agent. The wetting agent is a tenside, pref. anionic, added to the soil improver in ratio of 1:100. The soil improver contains 70 wt.% of NaOH soln., 20% of glycerol and 10% of acetic acid. ADVANTAGE - Addn. of a tenside increases the activity of the compsn., improves ion-exchange between plants and soil substances, and gives a saving in use
