Single machine for mfg. separate uncured tyre components - has carcass building and breaker layer building drums, final drum for combining carcass and breaker layer, and transfer system for carcass and breaker

Machinery for forming the uncured components of a tyre and then putting them together to form a green tyre for moulding. An essential feature of the machinery is that the separate components of the tyre are made on different parts of a single machine with a long bed and then automatically brought together. Machinery design includes (i) a first stage having a carcass building drum for forming the carcass and associated bead wires, (ii) a second stage having a further drum for building up the reinforcing layers. A final drum located between the first and second stage drums serves to build the final uncured tyre from the separately formed pts. Transfer units move the carcass and breaker layer components from their respective drums to the final building drum. USE/ADVANTAGE - The single machine builds carcass and breaker layers of a tyre separately and put them together, eliminates the use of separate machines, reduces operator costs and guarantees higher quality when both uncured tyre sections are added to each other.
