Filtrator appts. for liqs. has endless lattice support band (18) with stringers (19), drivable towards discharge zone, with its edges lying against part of the peripheral surface (12) of two coaxial, rotatable, journalled disks (10,11), and with these enclosing a toughened dirty liquid chamber (20) fed by a channel (26). The stringer band (19), filtration band (22), presented towards the dirty liq. chamber side, is laid against the lattice support band (18) and below this region is arranged a collector for the purified liq. the improvement being the stringer band (19) honeycomb belt (25) is laid on the dirty liquid of the filter band (22) and moves with it to the discharge zone, with one side of the open cells bounded by the filter band (22). USE/ADVANTAGE - Continuous filtration with continuous roll-fed filter sheet medium arranged to produce maximum hydrostatic head of dirty liquid to be filtered.
