The combined switch has a release plate (6) cooperating with an operating element (5) of the release mechanism (4), a spring biased return plate (15) and a release lever (13) for the fault current protection switch. The return plate (15) is coupled to a cut-out trip (25) for the breaker switch. A resetting trip (21) passes around a cylindrical pivot pin (22) which moves along an elongate guide slot (24). The pivot pin (22) is indirectly coupled to the switch-in lever (29) for the fault current protection switch and the latch (27) for the release lever (13).
