METHOD TO REMOVE EXTERNAL COATINGS FROM PIPELINES

To remove coatings from pipelines during the manufacture, processing and application of such products, a method is proposed in which the coating is peeled off using one or more high-energy jets of fluid, at least one of which has a speed component which is tangentially aligned and/or is parallel to the axis of the pipeline and which emerge from nozzles which execute a movement in relation to the coated surface.
