<p>Apparatus for mixing two fluids, especially hot and cold water for ablutionary appliances, comprises a separate diaphragm valve 7 for controlling admission of each fluid to a mixing chamber 3 and actuator means (8) responsive to a detected difference between values of a parameter of the mixed fluids set by the user and sensed by a sensor 18 to adjust the valves 7 for varying the relative proportions of the admixed fluids to maintain equal the set and sensed values of the parameter, for example the temperature of blended hot and cold water. <IMAGE></p> |
