<p>The invention relates to a door lock, especially for vehicle doors, in which a preferably bolt-shaped locking device (10) on the door leaf (21) interacts with a latch (10) mounted pivotably on the door frame (1). The latch has a groove (19) receiving the locking device and is under the effect of a spring, the tension of which increases as a result of the pivoting movement of the latch occurring during the closing of the door. The latch is pivotable by means of a pneumatic tumbler cylinder and has at least one notch (22,23), into which a detent pawl (24) releasable by means of a pneumatic blocking cylinder engages in the end region of the door-closing movement. According to the invention, the locking device (20) arranged in the door leaf (21) and the pivot axle (8) in the latch (10) are directed essentially parallel both to the door leaf (21) and to the door-frame part (1) carrying the latch (10). <IMAGE></p> |
