PROCESS OF ENZYME CATALYSIS IN THE PRESENCE OF A TEMPERATURE GRADIENT

An enzyme catalysis process to be carried out in the presence of a temperature gradient is disclosed, which process gives rise to better yields of product than under isothermal conditions, both at the average temperature and at the maximum temperature of said gradient. An apparatus for carrying this process into effect is also disclosed.
