PURPOSE:To obtain a GPS receiver which can find the azimuth from its own location to the nearest transit place and, in addition, can obtain the distance from its own location to the final destination via each transit place. CONSTITUTION:This GPS receiver finds its location by receiving and analyzing signals from a GPS satellite by means of an antenna section 1, GPS receiving and detecting section 2, and control section 6 and stores positional information regarding a destination and a plurality of places which are to be continuously passed through on the way to the destination inputted to an input section 4 in a positional information storing section 5. The azimuth from its own location to a selected transit place and distance fro its own location to the destination via set pass transit places or the distances from its own location to the transit places are displayed on an LCD displaying section 7 from the information about its own location and the information regarding the transit places stored in the section 5. Therefore, the user can prepare the best action plan, because the user can know the azimuth to the nearest transit place and distance from its own location to the final destination via each transit place. |
