<p>PURPOSE:To provide the sand filter device which is suitable for filtration of eutrophic water contg. many algae and suspended materials and can efficiently wash filter media. CONSTITUTION:This sand filter device has an inner cylinder which is made of a wire net, sand 4 which is packed into the upper half part of the cylinder by providing gaps therein, a cylinder 8 which has the wire net coarser than the wire net of the cylinder which is provided around the cylinder, plural partition vane plates 7 which are provided therein, a gravel 10 which is packed between the partition vane plates by having gaps, cap plates 2 which are mounted at both ends of the inside and outside cylinders, and a strainer pipe 5 for outflow of filtrate which is provided in a water supply port and filter sand and projects at one end to the outside. The filter device is so constituted that this device can be rotated at a low speed for the purpose of washing the sand and the wire nets.</p> |
