<p>PURPOSE:To properly perform anaerobic and aerobic treatments even for large load fluctuation in treatment of sewage by a single tank method. CONSTITUTION:Three pieces of timers for controlling an underwater aerator, a DO meter and a compressor supplying air are provided to the inside of a single reaction tank. This single reaction tank is operated so that the rate of time A wherein DO in the tank is less than prescribed 0.2mg/l and time B for maintaining high DO level respectively described below is regulated to a range within 0.6-1.0. In one cycle of intermittent aeration, time B consists of time C1 wherein DO in the tank is larger than prescribed 0.5mg/l in time C for supplying air and time d1 elapsing until DO in the tank is less than prescribed 0.5mg/l from a time for stopping supply of air. Time B is shown by B=C1+d1. Time A is present within time D for stopping supply of air.</p> |
