<p>PURPOSE: To provide a chain stretching device for a chain saw which is of a simpler structure compared to a structure based on a conventional technology and is best-suitably arranged. CONSTITUTION: This chain stretching device is equipped with a guide bar installation part which movably installs a guide bar 14 in the longitudinal direction of the part by a toothed part 17 arranged in a saw body. In addition, an appropriate cogwheel 18 is provided for the toothed part 17 and is firmly joined to a shaft 19 passing through a fitting aperture 22 in the guide bar 14. The shaft 19 passes through even a slender opening 23 in the outside of the guide bar installation part, and the opening 23 is directed along the toothed part 17. The shaft 19 has an outer end 20 which fits into a screw tool.</p> |
