MANUFACTURE OF THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitive recording material which shows high sensitivity and superior image preserving properties. CONSTITUTION:According to this manufacture for a thermosensitive recording material having an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound as color developing components, the temperature of a liquid medium is maintained to be not higher than 40 deg.C, preferably in the range of 5-35 deg.C when the aromatic isocyanate compound is dry-crushed in the water medium. Accordingly, the aromatic isocyanate compound is prevented from being hydrolyzed at the dry-crushing time. In this method, a thermosensitive recording material which shows high sensitivity and superior image preserving properties can be obtained.
