PURPOSE:To inexpensively remove organochlorine compds. by providing a means for absorbing organochlorine compds. in oil and a means for distilling the oil having absorbed the organochlorine compds. and separating the compds. CONSTITUTION:Oil is delivered by an oil pump 13 under pressure, discharged from an oil sprinkling head 9, dropped through a packing 8 and accumulated in an oil reservoir 11. The descending oil is brought into contact with the organochlorine compds. in a gas ascending from a lower chamber 1a in the packing 8, and the organochlorine compds. are absorbed in the oil. The oil at the bottom is heated by a heater 22 in an evaporator 19, and the organochlorine compds. dissolved in the oil are evaporated by the b.p. difference. The vapor is cooled by a cooling pipe 23 provided between a partition wall 19a and the peripheral wall, liquefied and accumulated between the partition wall 19a and the peripheral wall. The organochlorine compds. C, water W and oil O are separated in this order from the bottom in a recovery tank 25. |
