PURPOSE:To rub filter media against each other and to easily and rapidly wash the filter media by horizontally providing a filter cylinder housing the filter media and constituting this cylinder rotatably around its horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:The filter cylinder 2 is provided in a cleaning device 14. This filter cylinder 2 is horizontal and a shaft rod 7 is fixed to the right end thereof and is further connected to a motor 8 so as to be made rotatable. The filter media are washed by turning on the switch of the motor 8 and changing over a selector valve 17 to communicate the filter cylinder 2 and a drain port 16 when clogging arises. Since the filter cylinder 2 rotates at this time, the filter media rub against each other and the excess biomembranes on the surfaces are removed and are discharged from a drain port 16. The filter media are surely, easily and rapidly washed in such a manner. |
