PURPOSE:To speed up a task and save power by placing a plurality of capillary tubes on an apparatus and concurrently cleaning other capillary tubes even during sample separation and analysis. CONSTITUTION:Capillary assemblies 30,30',30'', etc., containing a plurality of sample separating capillaries with resin coat removed in a housing are placed on a tray 31. The assembly 30 is fixed by a presser 36 along with a fixing guide 35, the position is adjusted by a detector 40 to set a recorder level to zero, and sample is introduced to an injection board 38 by an auto sampler. Electrophoresis is performed to start analysis. After the analysis is completed, the used assembly 30 is moved to a cleaning department and cleaning solution is injected with pressure applied from an inlet or outlet port 13,15. Upon completion the assembly is returned to the tray, but since next sample analysis is performed in parallel with the cleaning, analysis time is reduced to an approximate half, resulting in large improvement in efficiency. |
