<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title deodorizing gel beads capable of eliminating an offensive smell of toilet for pets such as dog and cats for a long period of time by using microorganism component-containing beads by using microorganism component-containing beads prepared by dripping a specific microorganism- containing agent to a solution of calcium chloride. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism-containing agent comprising a microorganism of the genus preferably Bacillus, Streptpococcus, Enterobacter, Rhizopus and/or Aspergillus, a nutrient source consisting of a carbon-based nutrient source composed of a saccharide such as glucose and a nitrogen-based nutrient source such as ammonium chloride or ammonium sulfate and sodium alginate is dripped into a solution of calcium chloride to prepare microorganism-containing beads, which are used to give the objective treating and deodorizing gel beads having no bad effects on pet eating and ready handling.</p> |
