Primary amide esters, ester amide derivatives of the general formula: where B is an organic radical having from 2 to 6 carbons, m=1 to 3, n=1 to 3, and each R is, independently, an aliphatic, ether or ester group having 1 to 29 carbon atoms are edible, preferably partially digestible, fat replacements for foods.
