PURPOSE:To record an image such as a printed character or the like in any of the thermosensitive recording method and the discharging recording method by making a second protective layer of a recording medium contain a heat-proof resin of a specified glass transition point, a lubricant and a conductive substance. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium is constituted of a supporting body 11, and a colored layer 12, a metallic thin film layer 13, a first protective layer 14 and a second protective layer 15 sequentially formed on the upper surface of the supporting body 11. The supporting body 11 is made of mechanically tough and flexible material, e.g. film or coated paper of polyethylene film, glass, metal, etc. The second protective layer 15 contains a heat-proof resin having at least higher than 30 deg.C glass transition point, a lubricant and a conductive substance. Accordingly, the recording medium 10 is employable both in the discharging recording method and thermosensitive recording method. |
