PURPOSE:To increase flexibility of paper feeding and to improve operatability in the case of manual feed mode by providing plural keys which correspond to each paper feeding cassette individually and conduct the paper feeding from the corresponding paper feeding cassette. CONSTITUTION:When printing is performed in manual feed mode, a first cassette 2 or a second cassette 3 is set as a paper feeding source by selecting either a FF key 6 or a CONT key 7. When the CONT key 7 has been selected, the second cassette 3 is set as the paper feeding source. When the printing starts in this state, a sensitive body is charged by means of a charging mechanism in a printer body 1, and after that, the image information is recorded as electrostatic latent image by means of an exposure mechanism. And, the electrostatic latent image is changed to a visible image by deposition of toner by means of a developing mechanism. In this case, since paper sheets in the first cassette 2 and the second cassette 3 can be fed selectively, flexibility of the paper feeding in the case of manual feed is increased. |
